»Instant music« was the working title of this phonogram’s first half. It only existed in my head; maybe I mentioned it to somebody in the band once or twice. I always contemplated these two words as a fundamental component of jazz music and opposite to a musical infusion of another kind: How we made these tracks and put them together. There has never been a concept to all these songs, they started existing whenever we sat together to pour ideas out, which did not happen very often. It is now called »A Dim Daze« deriving from an individual, emotional state, which can also be found in groups, parties, families, fleets, societies.

The B-side of this record however represents how all this started. Actually that happened back in 2015, when I wrote the first lines and sketches.
